Learning Observed
Today we have been learning to count to ten and make the number shown on the flip board, on the tens frame. We started with the flipboard, Miss Morgan uncovered one number and we had to read the number. Once we identified what number we could see on the flip board, we counted it out on the ten’s frame to make the number on the ten’s frame.

Evidence of learning
Elham counted the number shown on the flip board and created the number shown on the ten’s frame.
Key Competencies/Vision Principles
Elham is developing her Capabilities in maths. She was able to keep looking back to the flipboard to help her remember what number to create on the tens frame (Managing Self). Elham used the number on the flipboard to guide her on the tens frame (Using Language, Symbols and Text). She demonstrated an understanding of how to create a number shown to her, on a tens frame (Thinking).
